 Covid 19 Relief:
 
We at Chabad of Capitol Hill understand the high level of concern surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak. As an organization, we are implementing proactive procedures to ensure the safety of our community. 
 
In addition to the protective measures, we are mounting a proactive effort to provide our community with support, Chabad of Capitol Hill will be available to deliver food and supplies and make welfare checks for those in need.
 
 and we will contact you. It may take us a few days to respond and to gather the resources needed to help each individual and family but we will be working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our community.
 

 Holiday Day gift Packing:

Before each Jewish Holiday we prepare & distribute special gifts & holiday guides to senior citizens throughout the area whether they live independently or in a facility and to the Local Hospitals.

Volunteers are needed to help with delivering food & supplies, making welfare checks, running errands, and packing care packages. If you are willing and able to help, please

 


» WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

  • Individuals who are at high risk of getting very sick from COVID-19, such as older adults or people with serious chronic medical conditions should avoid crowds and limit close contact. If you are at high risk, we encourage you to skip any Chabad or other events.
  • If you have any symptoms including fever, cough or shortness of breath, do NOT attend Chabad or other events. 
  • If you have traveled to China, Iran, South Korea, Japan or Italy within the last 14 days, please do NOT​ attend. 
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Please ">wash your hands upon ">arrival, ">when leaving ">return to your home.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. 
  • Avoid shaking hands. 
  • Do not share cups or water bottles. 
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Or  cough or sneeze into your elbow.
